Fan Pier development, Boston

Until 2018 when I retired I took a commuter ferry to Boston every day and it passed by Fan Pier, where I watched this development over the years. (There has been much more development in the Seaport District since these photos were taken.) Before (and even for awhile after) the brick Moakley Federal Courthouse was built in 1999, Fan Pier was a parking lot (I used to park my car there some days), and it was also the location of the Harbor Lights Pavilion (white tent in courthouse photo), and before that it was a rail yard.
